2011 Award: Alexandra Strada

Alexandra Strada (b. 1988) was raised in New York City and Amagansett, NY by a painter and an architect. She received her B.A. in studio art and art history from Bates College in 2010. With an unobtrusive approach, Alexandra photographs people and places as she finds them. Her photographs have been shown widely, including exhibitions at the Gerard Peters Gallery, the National Museum of Iceland, and the Parish Art Museum. She currently lives in Brooklyn.
