2010 Award: Andrew Spear

Andrew Spear (b. 1987) is a freelance photographer currently based in Columbus, Ohio. He spent his formative years in a small northeastern Ohio town before moving to Athens, Ohio for college. A recent graduate of Ohio University's School of Visual Communication, Andrew began working for clients including the The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, the AARP Bulletin and TIME Magazine while still in school. He is interested in long-term social documentary projects, as well as the relationships people create with their surroundings. You can view more of his work at his website.
